Wednesday, February 27 - Tangier - $8 QUAZAR AND THE BAMBOOZLED 11p THE DOUGLAS LEE 10p GEMMA HAYES 8:45p KATY ROSE 7:45p (Los Angeles) A different sound entirely to her indie-rock band All Wrong and the Plans Change, Kassia Conway's solo songs reflect a bass players take at acoustic guitar, mixed with a deep and breathy vocal that tells all. Lyrically driven, far from sappy, but extremely personal, these songs ask the questions. Stark arrangements compliment rich melody and give the listener space to draw their own conclusions. "I'm from New York, transplanted to LA to do music. I am a girl."
